Almost 150 years experience!
The Royal Boskoop Horticultural Society was founded in 1861 and is active in a wide range of woody ornamentals and perennials.

The Society presents itself regularly at exhibitions, for example at the Floriade 2002. In addition, judging of plants of a certain genus is one of the most important activities. The Society is well known throughout the world for its objectivity and expertise.

The Dutch Plant Collections are another initiative of the Royal Boskoop Horticultural Society. They can be visited and used as a reference point to study and to compare plants. The Collections have been published in the book Nederlandse Planten Collecties.

Another publication from the Society is Conifers, the illustrated encyclopedia of which over 60,000 are sold worldwide.
