Appreciation for top-assortment

The objective of the KVBC is: Sharing green knowledge. This can be done in various ways. One of them is the propagation of the trial results.

To share green knowledge, the KVBC wants to reach the entire chain; grower, retail and consumer. Making the trial results not only available for the profession but also for the consumer.

With the KVBC Awards it is clear to everyone which plants are good, better and best.

Starting point

KVBC-Awards are awarded to field-trialled plants: these have proven themselves in practice and are currently in the market. The plants are assessed on the basis of a score sheet.

An Award can be awarded after a Field Trial or a Star Trial: both offer a statistical basis. Trade Show Trials are excluded because they concern a snapshot.

If a plant is rated with an KVBC-Award, a scoresheet is available. This way you know exactly where the plant scores well or less well. Click on the plant name for the scoresheet.
