Garden Trials and Trade is the event where the latest plant breeding in the field of woody plants and perennials is shown. On 12, 13 and 14 June 2018 this will take place for the first time in the Plantarium building at the International Trade Center Boskoop-Hazerswoude.
Garden Trials and Trade is an initiative of the Stichting Vakbeurs voor de Boomkwekerij (organizer of Plantarium) and the Greenport Business Center.
During this three-day event, breeders and specialized licensing agencies present the most current innovations in the assortment of woody plants and perennials. This offers all international sector professionals a unique opportunity to admire these novelties in full bloom in the middle of the garden season.
Visitors get a glimpse into the kitchen of international breeding and assortment renewal. Because the producers of these new plants are also present, the chain partners can immediately put together their garden plant program for the coming season.

Garden Trials and Trade is an initiative of the Greenport Business Center (GBC) and the Stichting Vakbeurs voor de Boomkwekerij (SVB). Both organizations simultaneously identified the need for a tree nursery event where innovation and trade are central. They were looking for each other and the collaboration was born. As an organizer of Plantarium, the SVB has extensive experience in successfully organizing trade fairs. The GBC aims to develop and stimulate commercial initiatives that contribute to the innovative strength of the sector. ,, A nice combination to put this new event powerfully.
